CPRS District XI Colleagues,
Welcome to another exciting year of training and networking opportunities! Your CPRS District XI board is comprised of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals representing seven cities throughout the Inland Empire. Together, we have developed a full calendar of activities to provide a selection of opportunities for continued growth in the profession including:
Education and Training: Aquatics Workshop, Administrative Assistant Day, Part-time Staff Development, Park Operations Mini Conference & Fall Forum.
Networking: Bunko, Golf Tournament, Awards and Installation Banquet, & Conference Social.
Legislative Education: Conference Calls, Legislative Updates & the award winning Executive Legislative Breakfast.
Members may also look forward to improved communication through the District XI website at districtxi.cprs.org and by member surveys coming soon to your e-mailbox. One thrilling new development is the re-implementation of our Golf Tournament and new partnership with District X to provide a quality park operations training to engage parks and recreation professionals in the region.
Feeling left out of the fun? There are still opportunities for you to be involved, either as a section representative (Aquatics or Aging Sections), or by attending any of our meetings or events. I encourage you to participate in all District XI activities!
